John Heskett is a Professor of Design at the Illinois Institute of Technology's Institute of Design. He has earned an international reputation as a commentator on design and has authored numerous books, articles, and reviews. In addition to his teaching and writing, Professor Heskett has advised private companies, educational organizations, and government bodies on the importance of intelligent design.

Professor Heskett holds a B. Sc. in Economics from the London School of Economics, University of London. During the 1999-2000 academic year, he served as the Otto Mønsted Visiting Professor at the Center for Design and Business at Copenhagen Business School. He lives in Chicago with his wife Pamela.
